Marlene Joan Odenbach
1946 - 2025
It is with sadness that we share the sudden passing of our beloved Marlene Odenbach on July 19.
Marlene was born in Blaine Lake, Saskatchewan on June 15, 1946 to Dick and Lydia Kirilenko. The family moved to Cando, Saskatchewan where she took her schooling and graduated from grade 12.
​Marlene was a regular part of our music times at Onoway Baptist and sang as part of our "Classics Worship Team." Marlene and Ken have been pillars of our church for many years.
She is survived by her loving husband Ken of 48 years, and her stepsons Brent (Danyelle) and Derrick (Diane); her sister Lorraine Tebb of Biggar, SK and her brother Jerry (Pat) Kirilenko of Cando, SK and their families. She is predeceased by her mother, father and Brother-in-law Gordy.
A Memorial service will be held on July 26, 2025 at 1:00 pm in the Onoway Baptist Church. A viewing will be available before the service at noon. Interment to follow at Onoway Baptist Church Cemetery and a luncheon at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Mustard Seed in her honour.

We meet until noon for singing, prayer, fellowship, and learning from God's word. As we start in to 2025 we are studying the book of Proverbs.
Ministries
We are a smaller church, which has both advantages and disadvantages.
Often it means, we are an all-hands-on-deck kind of church.
