DRIVE IN CHURCH INSTRUCTIONS

PLEASE NOTE:  THIS IS A TRIAL.
YOUR COOPERATION ENSURES WE CAN CONTINUE.

We will be broadcasting the church service from the back of a pickup truck on the lawn of the church.

Here’s your part:

  1. Drive to Onoway Baptist Church

  2. Find a parking spot

  3. Tune your radio to 87.9 FM.

  4. Watch, sing along, read your Bible and eat snacks all from the comfort of your vehicle.  (We do not provide the snacks.)

  5. Horn honks will be understood as “AMEN” or “HALLELUJAH”.  Please don’t honk too often.  😉

The town of Onoway is aware of what we are doing and is highly supportive, but we must abide by the restrictions to continue.  We will guide you to a parking spot, but your cooperation is essential.

There is no limit on the number of vehicles that can attend an outdoor drive-in event so long as:

  • Vehicles are spaced at least 2 metres apart and parked in a fashion that facilitates the ability for emergency exit.

  • Attendees only share vehicles with members of their household.

  • Attendees do not leave their vehicles for the duration of the event, except to use the washroom.

  • When leaving your vehicle, attendees must always maintain 2 metres’ physical distancing from all others.

  • It is recommended that staff, volunteers, and attendees wear face masks wherever possible.

  • All attendees must mask while in indoor public areas (e.g., washrooms).

  • Staff, volunteers, or others must maintain a 2-metre distance from the attendees.

You can bring a lawn chair, but it must be set up on the roof of your car or in the box of your truck.  Your vehicle is your household space.

SEE YOU SUNDAY.  INVITE A FRIEND!
