why SHOCKWAVE YOUTH?
We encourage young people to be bold for Jesus. Our theme verse is Acts 4:31.
After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken.
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.
who is SHOCKWAVE YOUTH
We are a ministry of Onoway Baptist Church, but we are open to any young people from age 11 to 18 (grade 6-12). We are volunteer led. If you would be interested in helping, please contact Kayla by email: youth@onowaybaptist.ca or Pastor Brian: pastorbrian@onowaybaptist.ca.
when is SHOCKWAVE YOUTH?
We meet for a fun activity every couple of weeks on a weekend. It changes from Friday night to Saturday or Sunday depending on the event. A weekly Bible study will begin in the Fall of 2013.
where is SHOCKWAVE YOUTH
As a ministry of Onoway Baptist Church, our base of operations is in Onoway at the Church building. Shockwave Youth also just opened a new Youth Centre in the old Food Bank building which we renovated. It's an incredible space...come check it out! We are trying to decide on a name.
